Er wonen zo\u2019n om en nabij 30.000 inwoners in Javea. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.clubvillamar.nl\/vakantiehuizen\/spanje\/costa-blanca\/javea\"><strong>Villa Javea<\/strong><\/a> ligt beschut tussen 2 kapen, Cabo de San Antonio en La Nao. Ook ligt Javea naast de imposante Montg\u00f3. Dit is ideaal, want zo is Javea tegen de wind beschut. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Javea was vroeger een vissersdorp en intussen een toeristische trekpleister. De haven en de visafslag speelt nog steeds een belangrijke rol in Javea. Ten tijde van de piraterij moest men zich verdedigen tegen de piraten. Er zijn zelfs nog kanonskogels die je kunt zien zitten. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Natuurlijk\nkan een bezoek aan de San Bartolom\u00e9 kathedraal niet ontbreken. <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Vroeger\nwas de handel in rozijnen belangrijk voor Javea. Je kunt nu nog schuurtjes\nbekijken waar de rozijnen bewaard werden. Belangrijker was de handel in tarwe\nen daarom werden er in de 17<sup>e<\/sup> en 18<sup>e<\/sup> eeuw windmolens\ngebouwd. Je kunt nog steeds restanten daarvan zien. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Er\nis een kerk in Javea die er uit ziet als een boot die door de golven breekt.\nHeel bijzonder en 1 in zijn soort. Deze kerk werd gebouwd in het belang van de\nvisvaart van Javea. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En wie in Javea is kan het natuurlijk niet laten om naar het meest oostelijke puntje van Spanje te gaan: Cap de la Nau. Het is even een klim, maar het uitzicht is prachtig! In Calp is de kalkstenenrots Pe\u00f1\u00f3n de Ifach. Deze berg is een\nnatuurpark en prachtig om te beklimmen!<br>\nIn Calp zijn meer archeologische resten te vinden die je kunt bekijken.<br>\nEr zijn zoutpannen in Calp waar vroeger zout werd gewonnen om de vis te\nconserveren. Tegenwoordig zijn deze onder water gezet en kun je er allerlei\nvogelsoorten vinden. Zoals bv. flamingo\u2019s. <br>\nEen leuke plaats om een fietsroute te fietsen en \/ of een flinke wandeling te\nmaken. De natuur is er prachtig! Maar neem wel genoeg water mee vanwege de\nhitte. En als je gaat wandelen goede wandelschoenen. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Een andere dichtbijzijnde plaats is Denia. In Denia zijn de Moorse invloeden nog goed terug te zien als je door de straten loopt. Ook heeft Denia zo\u2019n typische visserswijk met mooie gekleurde huisjes. <br> Het kasteel van Denia is in de 11<sup>e<\/sup> en 12<sup>e<\/sup> eeuw gebouwd. Vandaar zijn ook hier de Moorse invloeden goed te zien. Het kasteel is later gemoderniseerd, dus je kunt ook invloeden uit de Renaissance terugvinden. Het kasteel heeft een museum met archeologische resten uit de Romeinse tijd.
