Het hoort bij de provincie Las Palmas. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.clubvillamar.nl\/vakantiehuizen\/spanje\/fuerteventura\/corralejo\/yendi\">Fuerteventura<\/a><\/strong> is, na Tenerife, het grootste eiland van de Canarische Eilanden. De hoofdstad is Puerto del Rosario. Hier is ook de luchthaven van Fuerteventura te vinden. Er wonen ruim 107 duizend mensen in Fuerteventura, waarvan 15.000 in de hoofdstad. Het eiland bestaat uit 6 gemeenten: Antigua, Betancuria, La Oliva (waaronder Isla de Lobos), P\u00e1jara, Puerto del Rosario en Tuineje. Het klimaat om Fuerteventura is erg droog. Het is er vulkanisch en er is weinig begroeiing te vinden. Het is er het hele jaar door rond de 20 graden en droog. Met uitzondering van de zomermaanden, dan is het wat warmer. Het perfecte klimaat voor een vakantieparadijs!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Het\nis bijna niet voor te stellen dat Fuerteventura vroeger agrarisch was, want\ndaar is weinig meer van te zien. Tegenwoordig leeft men van het toerisme en dan\nvooral het \u201call inclusive\u201d en nudisme is bekend. Het enige agrarische aspect\nwat nog gaande is, is de geitenhouderij. De geitenkaas van Fuerteventura is\nzeer bekend!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Bezienswaardigheden in Fuerteventura<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>De\nvoormalige hoofdstad van Fuerteventura, Betancuria, is zeer geliefd onder de\ntoeristen. Het is een aantrekkelijk stadje met een oud kerkje en een oud\ncentrum. Ook Isla de Lobos is een wandelparadijs voor natuurliefhebbers. Isla\nde Lobos is een onbewoond eiland waar zich een natuurreservaat bevind. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Correlejo is de mooiste badplaats van Fuerteventura. Een bezoek aan deze badplaats kun je combineren met een bezoek aan Isla de Lobos en aan Lanzarote. Als je geen auto bij je hebt dan kun je er\nmakkelijk 1 huren. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fuerteventura\nis populair onder de surfers en dan vooral het dorpje Lajares. Als je niet van\nsurfen houdt is het toch leuk om eens te gaan kijken en de molen van Lajares te\nbezoeken voor een bakkie koffie met wat lekkers!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El\nCotillo is een vissersdorp in Fuerteventura. Zeker als je van vis houdt dan kun\nje in dit dorp zeker een lekker vers visje eten!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En 1\ndag, zeker als je kinderen bij je hebt, moet je naar het Oasis themapark. Dit\nis een botanische tuin, dierentuin en recreatiepark in 1. Je kinderen zullen\nhet absoluut geweldig vinden en niet meer weg willen!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Op\nFuerteventura is zwart strand te vinden, vanwege de vulkanische invloeden. Dit\nkan je bijvoorbeeld vinden op Playa Ajuy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Je\nkunt ook duiken in Fuerteventura en kennis maken met de prachtige\nonderwaterwereld!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Leuke feitjes over Fuerteventura<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>De\ninwoners van Fuerteventura worden \u201cMahorero\u201d genoemd. Deze naam komt van \u201cmaho\u201d\nwat een schoen is die de vroegere bewoners droegen. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De\nnaam van de&nbsp; geitenkaas van Fuerteventura\nis hier ook van afgeleid, \u201cMajorera\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ook de tomaten van Fuerteventura zijn populair.
