Deze regio is verdeeld in 2 provincies C\u00e1ceres en Badajoz. De hoofdstad van Extremadura is M\u00e9rida. Extremadura is 1 van de onbekendere regio\u2019s, dus dat betekend dat er niet heel veel toeristen te vinden zijn. Dat is weer een voordeel! En onterecht overigens, want er is prachtige natuur te vinden en oude middeleeuwse dorpjes die je mee terug nemen in de tijd. Er zijn allerlei bewaarde sporen van het verleden terug te vinden, zoals Romeinse, Moorse en Christelijke overgebleven gebouwen, bruggen en noem maar op. In Extremadura ga je op vakantie voor je rust en om te relaxen. Je kunt er natuurlijk ook allerlei sporten beoefenen, dus ook een actieve vakantie kun je hier uitstekend plannen! Extremadura is ook zeer geschikt om rond te reizen en zo alles te bekijken wat je tegenkomt. Je zult adembenemende dingen tegenkomen! Er is geen rechtstreeks vliegtuig naar Badajoz vanuit Nederland, maar je kunt de regio goed bereiken. Ook zijn in M\u00e9rida allerlei Romeinse overblijfselen te vinden. In Badajoz en C\u00e1ceres zijn Moorse invloeden te vinden. C\u00e1cares heeft een echte Middeleeuwse binnenstad, heel bijzonder om daar doorheen te lopen! Ook in Granadilla (het spookdorp) is een Arabisch fort. In Feria staat een prachtig oud kasteel waarvan je een prachtig uitzicht over de omgeving hebt. Ook een dagje Alange mag zeker niet ontbreken in de vakantie. Daar kun je heerlijk relaxen in oude Romeinse thermale baden. Een deel daarvan is daadwerkelijk overgebleven uit de Romeinse tijd. Het toppunt van ontspanning! De\nhammen komen van zwarte varkens die vrij rondlopen en zich voeden met eikels.\nAls je in Extremadura bent zeker deze ham gaan proeven en je kunt ook zien hoe\nhet proces verloopt. Hoe de ham gedroogd wordt. Erg leuk om te zien. Ook zijn\ner verschillende feesten in Extremadura die bijzonder zijn om mee te maken. Het\nis de moeite waard om je er in te verdiepen wanneer welke feesten gehouden\nworden. In Extremadura kun je nog stilte vinden. Echt pure stilte, met alleen\nde geluiden van de natuur! Dat is toch heerlijk als je op vakantie bent? Wat wil\nje nog meer! In Extremadura kun je als vogelliefhebber zeker wat vogels spotten\nen ook bijzondere vogels, vanwege de ongerepte natuur die Extramadura bezit. C\u00e1ceres\nstaat bijvoorbeeld bekend om de vele ooievaars. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Extremadura leent zich prima om rond te reizen en zo\nde hele regio aan te doen.
