De Spanjaarden noemen de stad Calpe en in Valencia zeggen ze Calp. Calpe ligt aan de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.clubvillamar.nl\/vakantiehuizen\/spanje\/costa-blanca\"><strong>Costa Blanca<\/strong><\/a> en kenmerkend voor de stad is dat een 332 m. hoge kalkstenen rots ligt die van heinde en ver te zien is. De rots maakt onderdeel uit van een vogelreservaat.\u00a0 Je kunt de rots beklimmen en je kunt je voorstellen dat je een prachtig uitzicht hebt vanaf de rots.<\/p>\n<p>Calpe is van oorsprong een vissersdorp en heeft nog steeds een actieve vissershaven. Vanuit deze haven kun je boottochten maken, een leuke ervaring.<\/p>\n<p>De stad wordt gescheiden door een zout water meer: Las Salinas, een prachtig gezicht zo dat meer in het midden. De zoutmijnen hebben dit meer laten ontstaan. Dit zoutwatermeer was vroeger erg belangrijk voor de economie van Calpe. Het zout werd ook vooral gebruikt om de gevangen vissen in te bewaren. Ideale combinatie: zout en vissen. Tegenwoordig is het meer beschermd. Ook zijn er oude kanonnen te zien die ooit gevonden zijn in de zee. Ook interessant zijn de resten van een oude Romeinse zoutfabriek. \u00a0De binnenstad in prachtig om eens doorheen te lopen, prachtige geplaveide straatjes en trappen zijn er te vinden. Ook zijn er meerder musea te vinden die je kunt bezichtigen.<\/p>\n<p>Calpe ligt aan de kust, dus natuurlijk zijn er ook mooie stranden te vinden. Een zon, zee strandvakantie kan Calpe je zeker bieden. Ook zijn er allerlei vormen van watersport te beoefenen. Er is ook een kiezelsteenstrand waar vooral duikers en snorkelaars te vinden zijn. Er is zoveel te doen in en rond het water dat je er een groot deel van je vakantie mee in kan vullen. Dus zon en water liefhebbers zijn in Calpe op de goede plek!<\/p>\n<p>Ook zijn er meerdere spa\u2019s in Calpe waar je heerlijk kunt ontspannen!<\/p>\n<p>Wat je zeker is moet doen als je in Calpe bent is een visveilig bijwonen. Elke maandag en vrijdag om 5 uur op de vismarkt in de haven is er een visveilig en het is zo bijzonder om dat eens mee te maken! De Spanjaarden zeggen dat het 9 maanden lente is en 3 maanden zomer in Calpe, dus wat wil je nog meer!
