De provincie Alicante is de zuidelijkste provincie van de regio Valencia, in Spanje. De provincie ligt aan de Middellandse zee en de hoofdstad heet, net als de provincie, Alicante. Alicante heeft een mediterraan klimaat met zachte winters en aangename, warme zomers. Zelfs in december kan het er nog 20 graden zijn! Allereerst is er Alf\u00e0s Del Pi. Deze stad is oorspronkelijk gebouwd voor bescherming tegen de piraten. Deze stad is bekend om het jaarlijkse Internationale Filmfestival en vooral voor toeristen is deze stad erg aantrekkelijk. Er zijn schitterende stranden, restaurantjes en leuke winkeltjes te vinden. Ook voor de wijnliefhebbers is Bodega Mendoza zeker een bezoekje waard. De volgende stad is Alcoy, de stad van de bruggen. Een stad met veel historie en musea en natuurlijk schitterende bruggen. Ook grenzen er 2 natuurparken aan. De stad ligt aan de kust en bezit een haven. Hier meren\u00a0 cruiseschepen het hele jaar door in grote getale aan. Ook is er een vliegveld wat erg handig is als je vaak heen en weer reist. Er zijn vaak aanbiedingen waardoor je goedkoop kunt vliegen. Ook in deze stad is van alles te bezichtigen, zoals kloosters, kerken, musea en een kasteel. Verder vinden er jaarlijks traditionele festivals plaats. Een goede plek om een huis te kopen, of, als je niet van de stad houdt qua wonen, net erbuiten. Verder hebben we Altea. Een gezellig, knus stadje met smalle straatjes en witte huisjes. Mooie stranden en het hele jaar lekker weer. Dit is echt een stadje om lekker te slenteren en te genieten van de rust en gezelligheid. Dan hebben we Benidorm, van oorsprong een vissersstadje, maar nu vooral heel toeristisch. In het midden van de stad is een zoutwatermeer te vinden. Ook is er nog terug te zien dat het oorspronkelijk een vissersdorp was. D\u00e9nia ligt aan de kust en hier vandaan vertrekt er elke dag een ferry naar \u201cde Balearen\u201d. In de stad zelf zijn verschillende bezienswaardigheden. El Campello is een stadje wat nog niet heel toeristisch is, dus juist daarom erg leuk om te bezoeken. Elche staat bekend om zijn palmbomentuin. Jal\u00f3n ligt in een vallei tussen de bergen. Hier wordt wijn geproduceerd en zijn Arabische invloeden terug te zien. J\u00e1vea heeft een mooi oud centrum, een oude haven en natuurlijk een zandstrand. Jijona staat bekend om turr\u00f3n, wat vaak wordt gegeten met kerst.
